Welcome.
My special guest for this installment is Monica Arroyo-Horne. During the early stages of her career, she was employed with the New York City Law Department, where she served as an Executive Level II Secretary and worked directly with Corporation Counsel Michael D. Hess.
She attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice, as well as the College of New Rochelle, in pursuit of her Master’s Degree in Communications. As an employee of the City of New York, she held discussions with a number of officials, including former mayor David Dinkins, Congressman Charles Rangel, former City Council member Charles Barron, Eric Adams, who currently serves as Mayor, and retired First Deputy Police Commissioner Howard Safir.
The Brooklyn resident was raised in a single family home in Jamaica (New York) with her mother Naomi Davis. In December of 2015, Ms. Davis was the subject of a special investigative report by The G-Man Interviews, which focused on incidents of abuse by numerous home health aides, also known as HHAs, that were recorded on video. Ms. Davis passed away in 2018.
In 2022, Ms. Arroyo-Horne retired from the New York City Police Department, also known as the NYPD, after 22 years of service as a Police Administrative Aide.
She devoted much of her time to the daily care of her mother, who suffered from Alzheimer’s and dementia. She requested an opportunity to return to the show to corroborate statements made by Michelle and Tiffany Mitchell and a retired NYPD sergeant. They recently appeared on The G-Man Interviews to discuss cases of alleged elder abuse by home health aides and how nothing has being done to effectively address the issue.

Arroyo-Horne was presented with a special retirement award by Keechant Sewell. At the time, Sewell was NYPD commissioner.

Arroyo-Horne receives award for service from Juanita Holmes, who at the time was Chief of the Training Bureau in the New York City Police Department.

The NYPD retiree provided The G-Man Interviews with a number of vintage photos of Eric Adams to confirm their decades-long friendship. “I don’t know what happened, but he’s not the same person. He’s really changed,” said Arroyo-Horne.
