Economic Advisers Testify on State of the Economy

C-SPAN: The White House Council of Economic Advisers testified about the U.S. economy’s strength and challenges during a Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee hearing. The advisers spoke about the strong job market and rising wages, but also answered questions related to inflation and rising costs for consumers. Senators also discussed vacancies on the Federal Reserve Board and debated confirming President Biden’s full slate of nominees.
