Sometimes the Center Point Is Something You Build

What actually happened was a lesson in patience, pacing, imperfection, and learning when enough is enough.

There were roots that fought back, pavers that didn’t line up perfectly, moments where I wanted to tear the whole thing apart and start over, and moments where I simply sat and watched the sun move across the yard.

Sometimes the center point isn’t something you find.

It’s something you build.

I wrote more about that experience—and what it taught me about slowing down, stewardship, and the difference between the old Jason and the one I’m becoming—in this week’s blog.
