Washington, DC Police Hold Briefing Following Shooting at White House Correspondents’ Dinner
C-SPAN: On April 25, Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro and other law enforcement officials briefed the press following gun shots fired at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in which President Trump, the first lady and his cabinet were all evacuated. DC Police, the FBI and Secret Service all applauded the response by law enforcement and provided details on the suspected gunman who was apprehended.
