Sen. Markwayne Mullin Speaks to Reporters About Homeland Security Secretary Nomination

C-SPAN: “I’m really excited for this opportunity,” Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) told reporters after he found out Pres. Trump plans to nominate him to replace DHS Secy. Kristi Noem who he fired earlier Thursday. “I wasn’t expecting the call,” he added. Mullin spoke about support from Democrats on his nomination and what he can learn from Noem’s tenure.
