My guest is Dr. Alan Singer, a teacher educator at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, and the author of the acclaimed Class-Conscious Coal Miners, which was published in 2024 by SUNY Press.
On January 25 of this year, the Hofstra historian and scholar published a column on Daily Kos entitled “Deport Elon and Melania,” in which he made the case that the wealthiest man in the world and the first lady of the United States are not exempt from the massive deportation effort launched by the Trump administration. He’ll provide details to support his claims.
