House Democratic Leadership News Conference
C-SPAN: “I shared with the caucus this morning, and the leadership team has shared with the caucus, that we’ll be voting ‘no’ unless there are any substantive changes or amendments in the Rules Committee,” said House Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-CA) as he responded to several questions regarding Democrats’ support for the DHS funding bill. Chair Aguilar, along with Caucus Vice Chair Ted Lieu (D-CA), spoke with the press during their weekly leadership news conference on the legislative agenda from Capitol Hill. Other topics addressed included the president’s threat of tariffs in regard to Greenland, immigration, and former special counsel Jack Smith’s upcoming testimony before the House Oversight Committee.
