Illinois Officials & Immigration Advocates Hold News Conference

C-SPAN: The November 21 news conference was held to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement activities in local communities at the Broadview, Illinois Detention Facility. They spoke on the treatment of detainees at the facility, the impact of immigration enforcement on local communities, and decried the recent decision by the Seventh Circuit of Appeals to halt the release of hundreds of detainees from ICE custody.
