House Minority Leader Jeffries Speaks to Reporters Amid Government Funding Impasse

Democrats are here in the Capitol. . .Four days away from a government shutdown and Republicans are on vacation,” said House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY) as he held a news conference at the Capitol amid a looming government shutdown deadline. He continued to say, “Donald Trump right now, as we speak, is at a golf event.” In addition, he answered reporter questions on health care premiums, political violence, and the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey.
