DC Mayor Holds News Conference After Meeting with AG Bondi

C-SPAN: Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) holds a news conference after meeting privately with Attorney General Pam Bondi. Bondi now oversees DC’s police following President Trump’s decision to take over the district’s law enforcement operations. Mayor Bowser, Chief of DC Police Pamela Smith, and Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice Lindsey Appiah outlined how they were working with federal partners and the National Guard to comply with Trump’s executive order to reduce crime in the nation’s capital.
