Israeli U.N. Ambassador Danny Danon Speaks to Reporters About Iranian Airstrikes

C-SPAN: Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon called Israel’s recent strikes on Iran and Iran’s nuclear program a “calculated and necessary action … carried out in response to an escalating and existential threat.” The ambassador’s remarks came as he briefly addressed the Israel-Iran conflict with reporters at United Nations headquarters in New York City. He spoke about Iran’s nuclear capability and said reports indicated Iran “moved dangerously close to operational nuclear capability.” When asked how long the operation against Iran would last, Ambassador Danon said, “we will continue to act until we know we have eliminated the threat.”
