Managing Your Stress: Virtual Medical Qigong Sessions Every Saturday

By Jason Scianno

Learn how to activate your healer within to improve health and well-being. Qigong is considered preventive medicine and meditation in motion; it is a free and available resource to all. Online sessions are held every Saturday at 9 a.m. and last about 30 to 40 minutes. A free video recording is sent to all attendees.

Qigong changed my life in ways I can not explain, and it is my mission to share it with as many people as possible. Again, it is a free and available resource to all. You need no special clothes or equipment. All you need is your willingness to try something new for health, healing and finding balance and calm in the mind and body.

Qigong’s foundational elements include:

Intentional Movements: These are slow, deliberate, and balanced motions designed to harmonize the body.

Rhythmic Breathing: This involves deep, slow, and steady breaths that align with the flowing movements.

Awareness: Practitioners maintain a calm, focused meditative state, staying present and clear-minded.

Visualization: This involves imagining the flow of Qi, or energy, circulating within and around the body.
