Palestinian Journalist and Mother Recounts a Night of Terror as Israel Kills More Than 400 in Gaza

Drop Site News: Israel unleashed one of its most vicious aerial assaults on Gaza of the past seventeen months on Monday night, killing over 400 people, the vast majority of them children. When contacting Drop Site contributors in Gaza this morning to check on them, their responses were horrifying.
Abubaker Abed, who is based in Deir al-Balah, wrote “I can’t stop hearing shells and strikes. It’s nonstop” You can read his full dispatch for Drop Site here.
Hossam Shabat, who is based in Beit Hanoun, in the northeast corner of Gaza, responded with one word: “Death.”
Rasha Abou Jalal, who is based in Gaza City, messaged: “I miraculously survived with my family last night. They bombed a house next to ours and it collapsed on our house. Thank God we were able to get out of the rubble safely but 11 people died in the house next to us.”
The story below is Rasha’s account of what happened.
