Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth Holds News Conference at NATO Headquarters

C-SPAN: “Pointing out realism” on the end game of the Russia-Ukraine War “is not a concession,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said at a news conference in Brussels, Belgium, as he left two days of meetings on the future of Ukraine with European counterparts at NATO headquarters. It was “unrealistic” for Ukraine to expect to return to its pre-2014 borders, Secretary Hegseth said. He also once again called on European nations to boost their defense spending, and said he and his European counterparts had agreed to boost defense industrial production on both sides of the Atlantic.
