My guest for this installment is Alan Singer, a historian and teacher educator at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. His most recent books are Social Studies for Secondary Schools and Class-Conscious Coal Miners. He is also a contributing writer for From The G-Man, the independent news and information site affiliated with this podcast.

In May of this year, Professor Singer appeared on the show and talked about his article Far-Right Fury: The Political Manipulation of White Grievance. The article was published on the Daily Kos website, and he joins me to discuss his most recent column, which is entitled Could Trump Silence the Media?
