Lieutenant Colonel Scott Mann (Ret.) is the author of the New York Times best-seller “Operation Pineapple Express,” a third-person narrative detailing the harrowing stories of the veterans, volunteers, and Afghan allies who navigated the US abandonment of Afghanistan in August of 2021.

On September 28, The G-Man Interviews conducted an uncensored interview with Lt. Col. Mann during a media tour in New York City to discuss his latest offering, which is entitled Nobody Is Coming to Save You (A Green Beret’s Guide to Getting Big Sh*t Done). “The book is a practical guide for leaders who want to make a bigger impact in the world now. It distills what I’ve learned over my three-decade career as a Green Beret into strategies you can use to lead others through hard change,” said Mann. “These are the same tactics Green Berets use to get vital stuff done when stakes are high and conditions impossible. You’ll also learn about human behavior, strategic influence and dynamic storytelling, because relationships are rocket fuel for getting big sh*t done.”

The book also places great emphasis on what Lt. Col. Mann refers to as The Churn. In this interview, he explains exactly what it is and why everyone in America must deal with it before and during the upcoming presidential election. “We need to recognize and understand that this country is in grave danger. That is an irrefutable fact! As a Green Beret, I’ve seen the Churn in Afghanistan and Iraq. It’s in America now, and it’s going to destroy the country and everyone in it if we don’t take immediate action,” Mann said.
