From The G-Man, the news site affiliated with this podcast, has published numerous commentaries and reports on the conditions, policies and practices that are allegedly having an adverse effect on the health and safety of Krystal Clark and others at the Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility (WHV) in Michigan. The special investigative series was launched in 2021, with the assistance of Prison Radio, after Clark’s family members, friends and supporters alleged she was being targeted for exposing blatant civil rights violations and other questionable practices by prison administrators and officers.

Here to provide an update on the situation are Larry Evans and Laura Dendel. Ms. Dendel is a member of the Michigan General Defense Committee, which describes itself as a community defense organization that offers prisoner support and other services.
