Hulk Hogan! You Need to Apologize…and Fast!!
Hey! Hogan! Was your bandana on too tight when you spoke at the Republican National Convention on July 18? It must have been because something you said was a clear indication that the flow of blood to your brain had been impeded. Oh! I’m so sorry. You don’t recall what you said? Allow me to refresh your memory. On a number of occasions, you referred to every person in attendance as “real Americans.” I hope you’ll remember making that statement. If not, you may want to log on to YouTube and look at some clips. I certainly remember it, and I suspect millions of registered Democrats, and perhaps legions of Independents, who despise this new version of the Republican Party also remember what you said. I can’t and won’t speak for them, but I want you to know that proclaiming everyone at the convention center was a “real American” really pissed me off! I know you may not care about that, and that’s fine, Hogan. However, if you consider yourself a decent and honorable man, and you want to set an example for all of your little “Hulkamaniacs” and fans in this country and abroad, you need to publicly apologize to the following groups, effective immediately.
Members of the United States Military
In 2014, you took part in WWE’s “Tribute to the Troops,” which was held at Fort Benning in Georgia. You opened the show and made a very powerful statement while addressing thousands of soldiers. Do remember what you said, Hogan? If not, take a look at this video.
Again, you said that everyone who stood before you in the convention center was a “real American,” right? Well, that would lead many to believe that anyone who didn’t support your presidential candidate or the GOP agenda was not a “real American.” In essence, you publicly stated that every member of the U.S. military that’s a registered Democrat or Independent isn’t a “real American,” and I have a big problem with that, Hogan! Check this out! Anyone who signs up to defend and possibly die for this country, no matter what their political affiliation, is a real American! Is that clear, or will it take a chair shot to the head to make you understand? You, all those who cheered you each time you made that dumbass statement, and everyone working at conservative media outlets better remember that! Yes, I’m talking to you little punks at FOX News, too! You, your candidate for president, nor the members of your party, don’t have a monopoly on patriotism!
The Children and Widows of Slain Police Officers
Did the aforementioned point make you feel bad, Hogan? If so, you’d better brace for impact because this next point could make you feel even worse. Everything that was stated regarding those serving in the military also applies to people working in police departments all across the country. Like many of their colleagues who were registered Republicans, police officers who were registered Democrats or Independents have been killed while protecting and serving the cities in which they worked. However, based on what you repeatedly said on stage as the GOP ghouls and goblins applauded, those police officers were not “real Americans” because they held different political viewpoints or never would’ve voted for your felon-ass friend. Have you even considered how much pain you may have caused the children and widows of slain officers with your demented declaration? I’ll say it one more time, Hogan, with chair in hand. Anyone who signs up to defend and possibly die for this country, or in this case their city, no matter what their political affiliation, is a real American!
The Immigrants Who Came to This Country, Became Successful and Continue to Pay It Forward
I know, I know. After all that bullshit you and others spewed about immigrants during the convention, you probably couldn’t imagine something like this happening, huh? Well, it has and on numerous occasions. I suggest you jump online and read some of the exceptional articles published in TIME Magazine, Associated Press, Forbes and a host of others. Oh! Keep this in mind as well. Many of the immigrants who came to this country, became successful, paid it forward or continue to do so, are pro-wrestling legends. Perhaps you’ve heard of or met one of them, Hogan. Her name is Rebecca Quinn, but millions all over the world know her as WWE superstar Becky Lynch. On March 24 of this year, she became a U.S. citizen and happily posed for a photo with President Biden. I dare you to tell “The Man” that she isn’t “a real American.”
Social media posts confirmed you’ve angered many fans and fellow wrestlers, Hogan. In terms of the fans, many are Democrats who may have spent money that was supposed to be used for gas or rent to buy a WWE or WCW ticket just to see you. They’re not “real Americans?” Do you have your head so far up your boy’s ass that you can’t see how you’ve hurt life-long fans? People from different political parties helped make you an icon, and this how how you repay the ones that support the Democratic Party? If you want to make a sincere effort to fix the damage you’ve done, consider showing up at the Democratic National Convention and saying….”We must come together because at the end of the day we’re all Americans, including those working towards or on the verge of becoming citizens.” It may have never dawned on you, but you can be a loyal Republican and still cross party lines in effort to help heal and unite this country. Former Rep. Liz Cheney and former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, to name a few, do it every day.
In the meantime, I want you and those who share your belief that only people who support your boy and the Republican Party are “real Americans” to watch this video. It’s from the film “Civil War.” I urge you to consider how what you and others said could lead to situations like this, especially if your boy is embarrassed and humiliated on November 5.
