‘NY Democrats Are Taking the State in the Wrong Direction’

Michael R. Long, who served as chairman of the Conservative Party of New York State, registered as a member of the New York State Conservative Party in 1964 and was elected as a District Leader of the Conservative Party in 1968. He was elected Chairman of the Kings County Conservative Party in 1972, Vice Chairman of the State Conservative Party in 1974, Executive Vice Chairman in 1985 and State Chairman in 1989. He stepped down from his position in January of 2019.

The U.S. Marine Corps veteran appeared in three previous episodes of The G-Man Interviews, and he joined me for this very special installment to discuss his 30-year reign, President Donald Trump, his displeasure regarding the policies and practices of Governor Andrew Cuomo and other New York Democrats, and the future of the Republican Party.

The 2019 episode is being posted in honor of Chairman Long, who passed away in July of 2022. It’s also being posted to illustrate that people from very different political backgrounds can have an intelligent and respectful conversation on any given issue.
