NYPD Allowing Officer Jonathan Diller’s Death to Be Politicized By Welcoming Trump at Wake
From The G-Man urges New York City Police Department (NYPD) officials, officers and the family of Officer Jonathan Diller to seriously consider the consequences of embracing and welcoming the former president at Diller’s wake. Without question, the planned visit is nothing more than a ploy to gain political support from members of the NYPD’s rank and file. If it’s politically advantageous for him to be there, he’ll seize the opportunity. He doesn’t give a damn about the department or its officers, and the NYPD should not allow Officer Diller’s death to be politicized! Period! End of story!
If the department and Officer Diller’s family allow him to attend, it should be with the stipulation that he not saying anything negative about anyone. He should simply offer condolences to the Diller family and the department and bounce! Anything else would mar the event and its true intent. Officer Diller’s wake is not the place to act up, call people out, or air political grievances.
Additionally, From The G-Man has a question for those who would defend “45’s” attending the wake by proclaiming he’s “pro cop” or “he has our back!” Did he bother to contact the NYPD to offer condolences or indicate he wanted to attend the wakes of the following slain officers?
