Cady McClain to Appear in ‘What the Constitution Means to Me’

The following statement was submitted by Emmy-winning actress Cady McClain.

I am excited to share that I will be acting in a staged workshop of Heidi Schreck‘s powerful play “What the Constitution Means to Me.”

Join me on March 22 at 7 p.m., March 23 at 7 p.m., or March 24, at 3 p.m., at Bethany Arts Community, 40 Somerstown Road in Ossining, New York.

What the Constitution Means to Me was a 2019 Finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, as well as a Best Play winner and nominee for the Tony Award and other major competitions.

In its review of the original Broadway production, Jesse Smith of The New York Times wrote, “What the Constitution Means to Me is one of the things we always say we want theater to be: an act of civic engagement. It restarts an argument many of us forgot we even needed to have.”
