C-SPAN: The U.N. Security Council votes 13-1 in favor of a Israel-Hamas ceasefire resolution drafted by Algeria and backed by Arab nations. However, with the U.S. (a permanent member) being the lone vote against the ceasefire, the resolution was rejected.
