President Biden Remarks on Administration Efforts to Tackle Climate Change

C-SPAN: President Biden delivered remarks on his administration’s efforts to counter climate change impacts, and in particular funds for communities to boost their resilience to worsening extreme weather patterns. The remarks came as his administration released the Fifth National Climate Change Assessment, a federal report on the expected national and regional impacts a changing climate would have on the U.S. He was introduced by Ritika Shah, the winner of a climate change-themed art competition that was part of the program surrounding the release of the Fifth National Climate Assessment. After his remarks, President Biden answered a question shouted by a reporter on his message for hostages that were being held by the Hamas terror group in Gaza. President Biden responded: “Hang in there, we’re coming.”
