Sec. Austin and Joint Chiefs Chair Brown News Conference in Brussels

C-SPAN: The Hamas attack on Israel was horrific and required a military response, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said during a briefing from NATO headquarters along with Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair General CQ Brown. The two military leaders told reporters about their meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other NATO nation military leaders, and about their continued support for his country’s efforts to repel Russian forces. Secretary Austin and General Brown also answered questions from reporters, and assured them that U.S. support for Israel would not come at the expense of ongoing NATO obligations or assurances to Ukraine.
