No Labels Holds Common Sense Agenda Launch in New Hampshire

This event originally aired on July 17.

C-SPAN: Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) and former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman (R) were the featured speakers at an event launching the “Common Sense” policy agenda booklet by No Labels, which billed itself as a centrist political organization. The pair were introduced by No Labels founding chair Joe Lieberman and other organization leaders, and were interviewed by Kevin Cirilli, a journalist with Scripps News. They talked about why they were advocating a centrist political approach, and about No Labels‘ push for that approach on the 2024 presidential field. Senator Manchin did not rule out a potential independent run for president himself, and No Labels officials said they were considering running a presidential slate in 2024. After taking questions from some of those in attendance at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, Senator Manchin and Mr. Huntsman were interviewed by a number of local and national journalists.
