Sen.Tim Scott Speaks at Iowa Republican Women’s Dinner

C-SPAN: Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) was the keynote speaker at a fundraiser hosted by the Five Seasons Republican Women club in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This was part of Senator Scott’s first trip to Iowa following his announcement of a presidential exploratory committee; Iowa was slated to hold the first GOP presidential nominating contest of 2024. During his remarks, Senator Scott talked about his childhood in rural South Carolina, growing up in a small apartment with his single mother, and experiences that formed his conservative political philosophy.
