The New 51 City Council District Maps Have Been Published

 

Dear New Yorkers,

The New York City Districting Commission is proud to publish these new City Council district maps which will be in place for the next decade. These maps are the product of hard work of the Commissioners, staff, and thousands of New Yorkers who participated in this process. The Commission spent over 100 hours redrawing these maps over the last eight months. We’ve received over 13,000 submissions from your communities. And this input has been invaluable to the Commission’s work. We’ve held 20 public meetings and hearings and listened to over 21 hours of public testimony both in person and virtually. We thank New Yorkers for your participation in NYC Democracy, which has made our new City Council districts.
