Retired Police Officer and PEACE Co-Founder Offers
Suggestions on How to Effectively Deal with the Crisis

The G-Man Interviews: Anthony Beattie
(Hosted & Produced by Gary Glennell Toms)

Welcome.

My guest for this episode is Anthony Beattie, a retired officer with over 20 years of service in law enforcement. He served in what he described as “a city that was declining into one of the most violent in the nation.”

During his tenure, his areas of expertise included crash investigations, commercial vehicle inspection, enforcement and investigation.

Beattie, a U.S. Marine veteran, continues to research acts of violence and student crisis and spends much of his time studying security as an ASIS member and a Physical Security Specialist (PSP) applicant. As a father in a blended family with five children, his passion for school safety comes from a personal drive to help create and implement best standards and practices that protect children.

As the co-founder of Police Engagement and Community Excellence, also known as PEACE, he has developed strong relationships with community activists and leaders over the last 10 years to ensure residents, young and old, have an opportunity to prosper on a number of levels and live in safe environments.

The interview was conducted on May 26.
