Since January I have been working as the new Artistic Director of Axial Theatre. Each month we have been doing online readings of new, short plays. I invite you to join us on May 15 at 12 p.m. (PT) and 3 p.m. (ET). Our special guest is three-time Emmy© nominated actress Marci Miller. All the playwrights this month are female identifying with a special selection from a new work called “The Wish,” written with support from Heidi Schreck (among others) of What the Constitution Means to Me.

I am proud to be a new Ambassador of Kids in the Spotlight, a not-for-profit organization helping foster youth tell “their stories, their way.” KITS first ever documentary short, Burnt Feathers, Broken Wings, tells the story of four foster girls struggling with addiction issues. It will be shown this month at their invitation-only Industry Night event at Universal Studios where I will also be moderating the post-film discussion with other attending filmmakers, kids, and special guest Terry Crews.

I continue to work as a Creative Partner with the US Coalition on Sustainability and SustainChain, and am proud to share that SustainChain has made the list of “World Changing Ideas 2022” by FastCompany in the AI & Date, Best World Changing Idea North America and General Excellence Categories.
