Violent Crime: Why Are We Where We Are and What Can We Do?

The U.S. is seeing an uptick in violent crimes with a call for harsher approaches. This panel will address why violent crime has risen and what the options are to address it, including whether those options involve or do not involve the criminal justice system (police/prosecutors/courts) . A special focus will be on non-justice system efforts to quell gun violence.
