Former NSM Leader to White Supremacists: There is No Honor in ‘Race Killings’ or Desecrating George Floyd Memorials

For nearly three decades, Jeff Schoep was a devout member of the National Socialist Movement, also known as the NSM. From 1994 until early 2019, he was the commander of the largest neo-Nazi organization in the United States. In early 2019, he retired from the NSM and walked away from the movement. “For the first time, in over 25 years, I was able to take time for self-reflection. It was during this time that I realized many of the principles I had once held so dearly and sacrificed so much for were wrong,” said Schoep.

Currently, Schoep is working to convert hate group members and eradicate white nationalism through his non-profit organization ‘Beyond Barriers’.

In the wake of news reports about the killing of a Black law enforcement veteran and Black Air Force veteran in Massachusetts, and the desecration of George Floyd memorials by white supremacists in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia, the former NSM leader recorded and submitted these videos in effort to try and stem the tide of hate and rage that continues to engulfed the nation.
