Mr. Payne was a dear friend, mentor, advisor and huge supporter of my independent news and information site(s), and I suspect he’d be completely overjoyed about winning a second Pulitzer Prize for his dedication, determination and painstaking research. To say I’m elated for the father and daughter team would be an understatement. What they accomplished is nothing short of amazing. Congratulations, and extremely well done.
