George Floyd Remembrance March in Houston Postponed. Minneapolis to Host March & New York Will Hold a Rally

The National Action Network, the Family
of George Floyd and Elected Officials Will Take Part
Postponed Due to Bad Weather Forecast
Houston – May 22
Rev. Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network (NAN), Philonise and Keeta Floyd, Yocharlakeeta Floyd and other members of the Floyd family & PAKFISC Foundation, Attorney, Benjamin Crump, Congresswoman, Shelia Jackson Lee, Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, and community leaders, local groups, activists and elected officials will attend.
The starting point will be McGregor Park, 5225 Calhoun Road. The lineup will begin at 8:00 a.m., and the march will start at 10:00 a.m. The event will conclude at Jack Yates High School, 3650 Alabama Street.

Minneapolis – May 23
Rev. Al Sharpton, members of the Floyd family, Attorney, Benjamin Crump, community leaders, local groups and activists will attend. A rally will be held outside of the Hennepin County Courthouse, 300 South 6th Street, at 4 p.m. (Central Time). The march will start at 5:30 p.m.
Still Scheduled
New York – May 23
Terrence Floyd, the brother of George Floyd, NAN and local activists will attend the event. The rally will start at 10 a.m. at Brooklyn Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street. No march will be conducted at this event.
