The following document was provided to From The G-Man by an NYPD source. “The general public has a right to know how they and NYPD officers will be affected, from a policing standpoint, by the legalization of marijuana in New York State,” said the source.

According to Page 1 of the three-page document, the NYPD Legal Bureau prepared the Frequently Asked Questions document in order to help officers understand the current state of that law, and enable them to continue to perform their law enforcement and public safety functions effectively and efficiently.
