CDC Director Walensky Says Vaccinated Individuals Can Travel Safely

C-SPAN: During the White House COVID-19 Response Team briefing, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky outlined an update on travel guidelines. She said, “fully vaccinated people can resume travel at low risk to themselves,” and that fully vaccinated people no longer need to be tested or quarantine before or after traveling domestically. Director Walensky added, “CDC is not recommending travel at this time due to the rising number of cases.” National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci provided an update on vaccine efficacy and spoke about vaccinating adolescents saying, “by the end of this year we should have enough information to safely vaccinate children of virtually any age.”
