Ruth Inge Hardison Honored by OGS During Women’s History Month

Voza Rivers/New Heritage Theatre Group, Harlem Arts Alliance, the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce Arts and Culture Committee, Harlem Advocates for Seniors, and Community Works NYC invite you to celebrate Women’s History Month with a salute to the legacy and life of Ruth Inge Hardison.

Hardison was a sculptor, visual artist and photographer who created a series of cast irons busts titled “Negro Giants in History”. The event will focus on her New York State Harlem Art Collection sculpture, Sojourner Truth.

The event is being presented in conjunction with the New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Curatorial and Visitor Services.
