NYPD Cop Under Investigation for Possible Role in Riot at U.S. Capitol

The New York Daily News: “There is one investigation that is active on one member,” Police Commissioner Dermot Shea Shea said. “There is no name yet released because we don’t know if it’s true or not. But I can tell you anyone committing crimes certainly would have a very short shelf life with the NYPD.”

Note: On January 9, From The G-Man published an editorial entitled Patrick Lynch & PBA Owe Family of Slain Capitol Police Officer and the City of New York an Apology. The article examined how the NYPD union leader and members enthusiastically endorsed Trump for a second term, but they remained completely silent in the wake of the assault on the U.S. Capitol and killing of Officer Brian Sicknick. From The G-Man asked the PBA president to provide an explanation to New York City residents and the country. He has not responded.
