Secretary Hegseth and General Caine Hold Briefing on Iran

C-SPAN:
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Gen. Dan Caine briefed reporters on combat operations against Iran, their first public statements since the U.S. and Israel launched attacks on Tehran. Secretary Hegseth said the attacks would end nearly five decades of anti-U.S. hostilities against the U.S., Israel, and their allies, and aimed to disable Iran’s multinational network of terrorist groups, including Hezbollah in Lebabon. General Caine provided a detailed overview of combat operations and timing, as well as how the U.S. was countering Iran’s attacks on its bases throughout the Middle East, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
