C-SPAN: NASA officials updated the public on the progress and goals of the Artemis II mission scheduled for launch in April 2026. Over the course of 10-days, a crew of four astronauts, comprised of three Americans and one Canadian will venture around the moon to conduct various experiments. A primary objective of the experiments is to test the effects of deep space on the human body, specifically related to bone marrow and organ tissue. The mission will also help to confirm what systems and hardware are needed for future human lunar exploration missions.
