Simon Wiesenthal Center Calls Out Tech Giants

The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s EVP of Partnerships for North America, Vlad Khaykin, recently appeared on Fox 11 Los Angeles to discuss our 2025 Digital Terrorism and Hate Report Card.

“Digital hate is content that targets people based on their identity—religion, race, sexual orientation—and is spread with the intent to harm,” Vlad explained. “And unfortunately, many platforms are failing at even the basics: enforcing their own terms of service, listening to watchdogs, and preventing repeat offenders from returning.”

Of the major platforms evaluated, none received an A grade. Roblox—a children’s gaming platform—scored highest with a B+, while TikTok earned a C and Telegram an F. Many platforms, Vlad noted, are either slow to act or knowingly leave hate online.
