C-SPAN: Congressional Democratic joined other civil rights advocates renewing efforts to expand the Supreme Court during a news conference on Capitol Hill. Lawmakers and advocates stressed the expansion is crucial especially after the court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022. Speakers raised concerns about other rights such as same-sex marriage that they said could be overturned as well by a court that leans 6-3 conservative.
