Whistleblower Pleaded with Former Governor to Do This!
In April of 2020, MyElder founder and CEO Jack Halpern appeared on The G-Man Interviews and revealed that then-Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a directive that Covid-19 hospital patients be sent to nursing homes, which Halpern said played a role in thousands of residents contracting and dying from the virus throughout the state. During the episode, Halpern begged Cuomo to immediately dispatch Army medical teams to assist overrun and overwhelmed nursing home staff.
